WARREN - A state commission that hears liquor law violation cases has sided with Ohio's Division of Liquor Control and will not overturn its decision to deny the renewal of a permit for Gadd's Olympic Inn.
The Liquor Control Commission found Gadd's Sept. 11 appeal "not well taken" and upheld liquor control's March decision denying the renewal of the 2012-13 permit to operate the Parkman Road N.W. bar.
The bar has been closed since Aug. 4, 2012, when a woman who lives next door was struck in the head by a stray bullet that was fired from the parking lot.
Linda Gadd, owner, was left a message seeking comment today. An email seeking comment was sent to Gadd's attorney, Andrew Zellers.
