Hubbard woman faces several charges
EAST LIVERPOOL - A Hubbard woman was charged Sunday by city police with underage drinking and a weapons violation following reports that a teenage girl was struck twice by the woman's vehicle.
Teja T. Isleman, 18, was charged with prohibitions, carrying a concealed weapon, reckless operation and leaving the scene of an accident, with other charges pending.
Police said they received a call from a female saying she had been "jumped" on Erie Street, with Patrolman Steve Adkins arriving to find another adult woman and a 14-year-old girl had been in a fight.
It was reported the other adult, who was not charged, dragged the teenager by her hair into a car being driven by Isleman, who decided to drive off. The other woman then shoved the teenage girl from the car, causing her to be struck by the vehicle, according to police.
Isleman and the other woman drove off, striking a car, then returned, striking the teenage girl again before striking a second car, leaving behind the bumper of Isleman's vehicle.
