Brick thrown through home's front window
WARREN - A 37-year-old Grandview St. S.E. resident came home Thursday to find her front picture window had been smashed with a brick, police said.
Wendy I. Sfikas, 2034 Grandview St. S.E., reported that sometime between 3:30 and 8 p.m., someone threw a brick through the window.
No suspects had been identified.
Domestic violence call ends in drug arrest
WARREN - A couple were arrested on multiple charges, including domestic violence, drug trafficking, aggravated menacing and having a weapon under disability.
Police responded just before midnight Thursday to a report of domestic violence at 1706 N. Park Ave. N.E. Ariana D. Shaver, 25, 523 Martin St. S.W., and Jamaur D. Brown, 30, 439 Second St., were arrested.
Shaver was charged with domestic violence in connection with an assault of Brown.
Brown was arrested on charges of having weapons whiled under disability, trafficking of crack and heroin, possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.
Police said they confiscated a plastic bag containing a white, powdery substance believed to be a drug, a Beretta U22 NEOS .22-caliber handgun and .22-caliber ammunition.
