I am writing to say that never have I dealt with such a poor company as DHL for reasons I am about to explain.
My father sent me my iPad from Egypt using DHL; he was told to write a low price so we would not have to pay a lot on it when it gets here to the states.
When I received the iPad, they wrapped it so tight in packing tape it actually bent it and shattered both the inner and outer screens with parts falling out. When I sent pictures to the company and filed a complaint, they sent me an email stating they were only going to compensate me $27. To me that is an insult, and I will never do business with them again, because if you do not carry insurance they will break it, it seems. Everyone needs to exercise caution when shipping with this company because you may have things damaged, and they will not pay for it.
