LORDSTOWN - Elizabeth "Betty" Bug Harris, 73, of Lordstown, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, at St. Joseph's Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Betty was born Aug. 18, 1940, in Washington, Pa., the daughter of Thomas Adams and Mildred Wolford.
She has lived in Lordstown since 2006, formerly of Newton Falls.
Betty was an office manager for 30 years with EK Concrete, which later became Sidley Concrete.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, traveling to Merit Island and Orange City, Fla.
Loving memories of Betty will be carried on by her two grandsons, Jonathan Prosser and Christopher McDonald, with whom she made her home; her sister, Nancy Slider of Washington, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceeded in death by her daughter, Donna McDonald; her father, Thomas Adams; her mother, Mildred Delaney; her stepfather, Don Delaney; brothers, Thomas, Bob and Ron Adams; and sisters, Lucille Hiles and Marge Pletcher.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at James Funeral Home, where funeral services will immediately follow at 8 p.m.
Per Betty's wishes, cremation will follow and she will be buried in Hawley Cemetery.
