Car and Driver magazine has named the Honda Accord as a winner of its prestigious annual '10 Best Cars' award for the 28th time in the award's 31-year existence.
Honda's flagship sedan has claimed the award, listed in the January edition, more than any other vehicle. It is the 17th consecutive time.
"The editors at Car and Driver have long appreciated Accord's almost singular mix of dynamic excellence and fuel efficiency balanced by a well-equipped, comfortable and practical package," said Michael Accavitti, vice president of marketing operations for American Honda Motor Co.
Other vehicles recognized this year include Audi A6/S6/A7; BMW 3-/4-Series; Cadillac CTS; Chevrolet Corvette Stingray; Ford Fiesta ST; Mazda 3; Mazda 6; Porsche Boxster/Cayman; and Volkswagen Golf/GTI.
