DOCUMENTARY TO ADDRESS HUMAN TRAFFICKING: The North East Ohio Coalition On Rescue and Restore in conjunction with National Human Trafficking Awareness Day on Saturday, and the National Weekend of Prayer to End Slavery and Trafficking, Friday through Sunday, will have a showing and discussion of the documentary "Rape For Profit," which exposes human trafficking in the Seattle-Tacoma, Washington area, at 6 p.m. Monday at the Mahoning Valley Hope Center, 3217 Surrey Road S.E., Warren.
January has been proclaimed National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month by President Barack Obama. Executive director of the film is Jada Pinkett Smith. Parental guidance is recommended for those attending.
GRIEF RECOVERY PROGRAM OFFERED: Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home and Cremation will present its 48th series of grief recovery instructional support groups at 7 p.m. Tuesdays, starting this Tuesday at the funeral home, 709 N. Main St., Hubbard.
The support groups are offered to anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one and are struggling with the pain of that loss. Upon completion of the 10-week program, participants enter the secondary group, which is an extension of the instructional groups and designed to help people rebuild their shattered lives.
