GIRARD - After a few weeks of Facebook voting, the Gibson Agency LLC will be donating $5,000 to the Rich Center for Autism on the Youngstown State University campus.
The center was the winner of the agency's second annual holiday giving campaign.
Katie Gething, director of marketing / agency development for the Gibson Agency, said the center received a total of 245 votes and was named the top charity.
Lisa Long, associate director of development at the center, said the center was happy to be involved in this year's poll.
''We are so grateful for your generous support,'' she said.
Gething said with 228 votes, the Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley and will be the recipient of Gibson's $1,000 donation.
The following organizations will all receive a $500 donation: Warren Family Mission, Homes for Kids, Child and Family Solutions, Someplace Safe, Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, Trumbull Mobile Meals, Children's Rehabilitation Foundation, Humane Society of Mercer County and Boys and Girls Club of Youngstown.
