HERMITAGE, Pa. - John P. Baldinelli, 84, formerly of Sharon, Pa., died at 11:35 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, in John XXIII Home, Hermitage, Pa., after an extended illness.
He was born Nov. 5, 1929, in Sharpsville, Pa., the son of John B. and Helen I. Brannan Baldinelli.
John served in Korea in the U.S. Army. He retired from Packard Electric as a rod mill operator, and was a member of the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Lee Cagle of Transfer, Pa., and Tinamarie Baldinelli of Sharon; two sons, Thomas Michael Baldinelli of Raleigh, N.C., and John Patrick Baldinelli of Surprise, Ariz.; six grandchildren; three sisters, Margaret Lowrey of Falls Church, Va., Dorothy Fedele of South Pymatuning Township, Pa., and Nancy Jane Ciccone of Wadsworth; and a brother, David Allen Baldinelli of Sharpsville.
John was preceded in death by his wife, the former Della B. Baker; a son, John Anthony Baldinelli; and three sisters.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home, Sharon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Church of Notre Dame. Burial will be at St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
