COALITION RESCHEDULES MEETING: The Creating Healthy Communities Coalition meeting originally scheduled this week but canceled due to weather will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The previous meeting was to be held at the Trumbull County Educational Service Center in Niles.
MYCAP TO HOLD INFORMATION SESSIONS: The MYCAP's Workforce Development Program helps people in Mahoning County who are motivated to find and maintain employment. MYCAP will begin its next six-week class in February at their main office, 1325 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. Those interested must attend one of the information sessions planned at MYCAP prior to the class. These sessions provide a general overview about the topics covered in class and what is expected from each participant. FASHION SHOW SEEKS PARTICIPANTS: Plans are under way and models are being sought for a series of American Girl Fashion Show events, which will be held on March 8 and 9 at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman. Proceeds from the shows, presented by the Kids' Crew of Akron Children's Hospital Mahoning Valley, will benefit local programs and services of the hospital. The Kids' Crew is seeking local girls who are interested in modeling for the American Girl Fashion Shows.
