LOVE BITES FOR VALENTINE'S DAY: The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library will hold the seventh annual Love Bites Chocolate Fest at 6 p.m. Wednesday for teens in seventh to 12th grades, who will get to sample different chocolates. There will also be music and celebrating of the film adaptation of Richelle Mead's "Vampire Academy" novel.

DONATION TO UNITED WAY: Hometown Pharmacy recently presented a $10,000 check to the United Way of Youngstown and Mahoning Valley, representing their corporate and employee contributions to the 2013 Campaign. The check presentation was held at the Hometown Pharmacy on Western Reserve Road.
Hometown Pharmacy and the United Way use the donations for the Healthy Kids Free Vitamin Program. Any child from ages 5 to 12 has the opportunity to receive a free, 30-day supply of children's chewable vitamins each month for an entire year.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Hospice of the Valley's new volunteer class will be from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Fridays, March 7 to April 4 at St. Joe's at the Mall, Eastwood Mall. Volunteers will learn what Hospice of the Valley's team of doctors, nurses, social workers and chaplains do for patients and their families and how volunteers fit into that team.
Hospice volunteers serve in a variety of ways including companions for hospice patients at home or in nursing homes as well as helping at the Hospice House in-patient facility. They also provide respite services to family members.

MOBILE MEALS RECEIVES DONATION: Bottom Dollar Food Charitable Foundation awarded $20,000 in grants to local nonprofits to support hunger relief. Grants included $2,500 to Trumbull Mobile Meals in Warren to provide meals to anyone in need in the community who cannot drive to or access a congregate meal site or food distribution center.
