CONNEAUT 50, BADGER 45, OT: CONNEAUT - Conneaut outscored Badger, 9-4, in overtime to pull away in a non-conference game.
The Spartans (5-15) overcame a terrible night from the free-throw line, where they shot 16 of 36. Justin Myers and Ryan Oatman combined for 34 of Conneaut's points, with 18 and 16, respectively.
Brandon Bates of Badger (6-15) led all scorers with 22 points. The Braves led, 32-28, before being outscored 13-9 in the fourth.
LAKEVIEW 46, SOUTH RANGE 36: CANFIELD - Three Bulldogs scored in double figures to give Lakeview the non-conference victory.
Lakeview's Jake Rosowicz scored 12 points, all coming from 3-point range. Jake Pishotti had 11 points while Brandon Keller had 10 points and a team-high seven rebounds. The Bulldogs are now 4-17 and conclude the regular season on Friday against Niles.
Jonah Wilson led South Range (4-17) with 13 points.
AUSTINTOWN FITCH 69, BOARDMAN 59: AUSTINTOWN - The underdog Spartans kept the game close through three quarters, but the Falcons rallied in the fourth to pick up the victory over their rival.
Boardman had a one-point lead heading into the fourth quarter, but Fitch outscored the Spartans, 22-11, to close out the game.
Jessie Driver led Fitch (17-3) with 18 points, followed by Michael Butcher (16) and Alex DiFrancesco (15).
Brian Fryda had seven 3-pointers en route to his 23 points. Ryan McKeown added 12 points for the Spartans (2-19).
NEWTON FALLS 64, YOUNGSTOWN CHRISTIAN 41: NEWTON FALLS - Ozzie Hawkins had 10 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter as the Tigers pulled away from the Eagles, 23-8.
Jaden Walton added 12 for Newton Falls (13-9), which has a layoff until Feb. 28 when the fourth-seeded Tigers host the winner of the Garfield-Brookfield sectional semifinal in a Division III Howland District sectional final.
Darien Townsend led Youngstown Christian with 12 points.
