YOUNGSTOWN - Habitat for Humanity of Mahoning County will dedicate its 40th house at 2 p.m. on Sunday at 635 Lincoln Ave.
Monica Craven, executive director, Habitat for Humanity of Mahoning County, said the home was built for the Collins and Bell family.
''This home was started in August of 2013. Volunteers worked throughout the fall and into the winter to complete this project. The family was also out there working as part of their 400 hours of sweat equity,'' she said.
Craven said the home has three bedrooms and one bath and was built to Energy Star 3.0 standards to reduce air leakage and improve energy bills.
Craven said the family will purchase the house from HFHMC for the appraised value on Monday. The family will then be responsible for repaying the non-profit, 0 percent interest loan with the affordable payments over the next 30 years.
All members of the community are welcome to attend the dedication.
